'Landmark' Mustang removed from West Fork
The old, rusted orange Mustang sat in the West Fork of the Bitterroot River for decades.
It took less than a minute for helicopter pilot Andy Orr to remove it Wednesday afternoon.
A group of about 10 onlookers gasped in delight as Orr’s helicopter swooped into sight with a magnet attached to the end of a long cable. With the greatest of ease, the magnet grabbed the old car, lifted it up over the river, and flew off to deposit it on a flatbed truck.
