Watershed Wednesday floods Capitol rotunda
More than 20 watershed groups crowded the state Capitol rotunda Wednesday to educate legislators and the public on efforts to improve Montana’s water quality.
The Montana Watershed Coordination Council holds Watershed Wednesday during the session to raise awareness and promote programs aimed at clean water. This year’s event coincides with the council’s annual meeting, held Thursday at Montana Wild. Groups like the Clark Fork Coalition, Big Hole Watershed Committee, Friends of Missouri Breaks Monument and others met with a steady stream of visitors learning about projects across the state.
