Each year, volunteers for Bitter Root Water Forum pull thousands of pounds of trash out of the Bitterroot River. Volunteers are assigned stretches of the river from Sula and Painted Rocks to the confluence at the Clark Fork in Missoula. Be a part of this year’s annual River Clean Up and help keep our beautiful Bitterroot River clean and flowing!

Have you seen any larger trash that you think might need extra work/coordination to get out? Let us know what the item is (or appears to be), it’s location (gps coordinates would be best), and if there are specific tools that you think someone would need to get it out and we'll work on it.
Printable scavenger hunt for kids! Fill one of these out and return it to the trash drop off at Kiwanis River Park for a prize!
This guide shows you some of the noxious weeds we want to help remove from our valley. Take a look, print a copy, or learn more from the Weed District. Don't forget to bring gloves if you plan to pull weeds!
